Kiwanis Club of Ramona has rolled two of its fundraisers into one major community event: Ramona Music Fest in the West.

Three live bands and a chili cook-off, cornhole tournament, Family Fun Zone, Kids Western Costume Contest, silent auction, opportunity drawings, food and drinks are among activities planned at the Pavilion in the Ramona Outdoor Community Center, 421 Aqua Lane, from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 25.

The Music Fest piece of the two-in-one event will celebrate music and dancing while the “in the West” portion will commemorate the National Day of the Cowboy. Complementing both will be an array of family-friendly activities and competitions.

Advance tickets for adults are available for $15 in advance and $25 at the door. Children ages 11 to 17 will be admitted for $10, with those age 10 and younger admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Kiwanians also have tickets for donations of $10 each for a drawing for a 70-inch LG 4K UHD Smart TV.

Tickets are available online at ramonakiwanis.org or from any Kiwanis member. Checks may be make payable to: Kiwanis Club of Ramona Foundation and mailed to P.O. Box 275, Ramona, CA 92065. Attendees may pay at the door with cash, Venmo or credit card.

Chili cook-off and Cornhole Tournament

Chili cook-off entries are $10 each. Cornhole contestant entries are $10 per team. Preregistration is required for both. Kiwanian Chris Bertolero is cook-off chair, and Reds, Whites & Brews is presenting the cornhole tournament More information about both is at ramonakiwanis.org.

Sponsorships

Sponsorship opportunities range from $2,000 to $250. Each level includes tickets to the event and public recognition on social and print media.

  • Presenting sponsors ($2,000) receive eight tickets to the event, one banner provided by the sponsor displayed at the event, logo listing on sponsor board, and acknowledgement by the master of ceremonies from the stage multiple times and in social media and press releases.
  • Platinum sponsors ($1,000) receive six tickets to the event, one banner provided by the sponsor displayed at the event, logo listing on sponsor board, and acknowledgement by the master of ceremonies and in social media and press releases.
  • Gold sponsors ($500) receive four tickets to the event, logo listing on sponsor board, and acknowledgement by the master of ceremonies and in social media and press releases.
  • Silver sponsors ($250) receive two tickets to the event, logo listing on sponsor board, and acknowledgement by the master of ceremonies and in social media and press releases.

Event proceeds will support Kiwanis Club of Ramona projects benefiting children, senior citizens, military and the community.
