Public Invited to Artists’ Reception to Preview Ramona Art & Wine Festival
Ramona, Calif., October 17, 2019—The Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Board is sponsoring a hosted Artists Wine and Cheese Reception on Friday, October 25, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at 2Create Gallery, 438 Main Street, Ramona, Calif.
Available to the public at no charge, guests can preview what’s coming at the 7th annual Ramona Art & Wine Festival on November 2, 2019 at Begent Ranch at 18528 Highland Valley Rd., Ramona, Calif.
Attendees can check out all six hand-painted barrels that will be auctioned at the Festival including, for the first year, deconstructed barrels turned into furniture of a dog house, chair, and table; meet artists showing their work at the Festival; sample local wines that will be offered at the Festival; view the original painting of the Festival commemorative art; and meet the artist, Lynette Bredow. Limited edition, signed prints of this painting will be available for sale at the Artists Reception and at the Festival.
Those interested in bidding on a barrel without attending the Festival can place a reserve bid at the Artists Reception or call Festival co-chair, Elaine Lyttleton at (760) 787-1102.
The 2Create Gallery is a non-profit gallery dedicated to encouraging and exhibiting San Diego artists and providing excellent affordable original art to the community.
The 7th annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival will be held at the scenic Begent Ranch, a venue provided by Molly Jaeger-Begent and David Begent. While listening to live music, attendees can browse and purchase fine art, enjoy wine tasting from local wineries, partake of a menu of hors d’oeuvres and desserts—and then bid on one of the six hand-painted wine barrels and/or the original commemorative painting. For tickets or additional information, go to http://ramonaartandwinefest.net.
The proceeds from the Festival will benefit the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, with the mission to celebrate Ramona’s cultural heritage through an outdoor visual arts program that today includes 22 wall murals and 17 mini-murals on utility boxes.
