Deb Espinoza and Heather Garcia of Stage Presence Homes have been featuring local business in their blog at their website, www.stagepresencehomes.com. The features are interesting and reach beyond the typical merchant sales pitch. We really love how Heather interviews the business owner and helps us get to know them as neighbors, not simply as merchants.
For instance, she recently featured one of our favorite hidden gems in Ramona, Sun Valley Florist. Tucked away inside the Affordable Treasures shop at the corner of 7th and Main, Sun Valley Florist has been in business for decades in Ramona and under the care of owner Frankie Berkley Newberg, for the past four. For those of us who still call that Affordable Treasures building, “the Pharmacy,” getting to know the new owner with Heather, was a pleasure.
- Voted Ramona’s Best Florist, read more about Frankie and Sun Valley Florist here: Local Business Spotlight – Sun Valley Florist
- In another feature, Heather gets to know the Seidl’s of Packard’s Coffee Shop: Packards Coffee Shop – A Ramona Tradition
- Also featuring important non-profit efforts, hear from Melissa Sargeant write as a guest about her Heart and Hooves Therapy
- And my personal favorite – when she asked Tracy Engel (moi) to write about Ramona Skatepark Champions
We recommend you follow this blog as they put together a very nice weekend wrap-up of what’s going on every weekend. When we can, we usually share a link to that on our Facebook page for Ramona Events, too.
If Deb and Heather’s working style is the same as their writing style, then you can look forward to a friendly and rewarding introduction to Ramona, when you buy or sell real estate with Stage Presence Homes at 619-247-2756.
