Vermicomposting (worm composting) is an environmentally-friendly way to turn your food waste into nutrient-rich castings for your plants or garden beds. This method is great for those who don’t have a lot of time to devote to building a compost pile or are home or apartment dwellers without much outdoor space. You can even keep your worm bin inside!
Learn how to DIY your own worm bin, start composting with red wiggler worms and harvest your nutrient-rich castings to use in your garden or houseplants. Each part of the 4-part webinar series builds upon the previous offering, providing time for live Q&A at the end. Register for all four workshops or attend several sessions à la carte.
This webinar is funded by the County of San Diego and is intended for residents of unincorporated County. Anyone may attend, however, the webinar recording will be available for 7 days after the live presentation to unincorporated County residents only.
Help us get the word out to other unincorporated residents! You’ll be entered to win a raffle prize for each resident you get to attend the webinar. If you get someone to register, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll set up a raffle entry for you.
