1. Request to address the Board
Members of the audience are invited to address the Governing Board. The Ralph M.
Brown Act limits the Governing Board and staff’s ability to respond to comments on nonagenda
items at the time such comments are made. If a member of the audience wishes
to address an item which is not listed on this meeting’s agenda, the speaker may do so
only during Item “E.” Those wishing to address the Governing Board should complete a
“Request to be Heard” card and give the card to the Administrative Assistant.
If an audience member wishes to address the Board on a scheduled item on this meeting’s
agenda, the “Request to be Heard” card must be submitted prior to the introduction of
that item. All comments will be limited to 3 minutes per person or 15 minutes per item.
