Event Details

Dogs are born with a PhD in scent. K9 Nose Work (r) is a fun activity for all dogs and their people! All dogs are welcome even those who are obedience class drop outs, are elderly, disabled, puppies as young as 3 months old (with shot up to date) and dogs who just need some mental stimulation or a change of career. Exception is human aggressive dogs. Using techniques adapted from drug and explosives K9 training, we will be teaching our dogs to find their target odor (birch, anise and/or clove) inside of buildings, in containers, in outside environments and on vehicles. If your dog has a nose, s/he can do it!!! Observers are very welcome. Please come and join us while the dogs discover they’ve just found the best thing ever! Class size is limited. Please contact Cathy Rittenhouse for class site and for more information.
