The Ramona Pioneer Historical Society will host its potluck meeting on June 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Barnett Barn at the Guy B. Woodward Museum, 645 Main St.
Chip Lancaster, a docent at the Classic Rotors Museum at the Ramona Airport, is scheduled to present a program on helicopters as they relate to the display at the airport. Lancaster was a navy helicopter pilot for 24 years and currently teaches math at Mesa College, as well as serving as a flight instructor at North Island Naval Air Station.
The Classic Rotors Museum at the airport is one of three rotorcraft museums in the world. It has 36 helicopters on display and is the largest collection of airworthy historical helicopters in the world.
Those attending the potluck are asked to bring a main dish, salad or dessert to serve eight. Visit www.woodwardmuseum.net.
