Local area authors will be celebrated Oct. 27 from 10am-3pm at Friends of the Ramona Library’s 7th annual Chuck LeMenager Authors’ Day and Book Fair. Admission is free.

Featured speaker Lisa Brackmann, whose first novel was “Rock Paper Tiger,” will give a talk at noon. A publishing forum is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Among those set to debut new books at Authors’ Day are award-winning Ramona Home Journal contributing writers Darrell Beck and Annette Williams.

The public is invited to stop by the open house-style event, meet all the authors and look at the many titles available for purchase. In addition, drawings will be held throughout the day. Prizes will be given every hour, with the grand prize being announced at 2pm.
