Ramona, CA – March 6th, 2018: Ramona artist Charlene Pulsonetti announced today her new series of paintings titled “CELESTIAL” will be debuted on April 14th at Ramona Shootist Emporium in Ramona, CA. Charlene is an emerging artist known for her enigmatic, colorful southwestern landscapes and fun old west illustrations.
CELESTIAL explores the artists personal relationship with Crows as a symbol of guardianship during her travels in the American Southwest. “My grandfather held an affinity for nature and often told the family that he would return as a crow to watch over us. It wasn’t until I first traveled to the southwest a number of years ago that I remembered this and felt his strength while hiking in our national parks”, says Pulsonetti.
The opening reception for CELESTIAL will take place April 14th, 2018 from 6-8PM at 649 Main St. Suite C in Ramona, CA. The opening open coincides with the Ramona Open Studio Tours where the public can visit the studios of participating Ramona artists.
About The Venue: Ramona Shootist Emporium serves as Ramona’s backcountry resources for shooting sports, providing historical and contemporary arms, reloading supplies, repairs, education and black powder supplies. Paying homage to its former proprietor “Ranger Doug”, it also celebrates an old west theme.
About The Artist: Charlene Pulsonetti was born in New York, but left behind the bagels and the Big Apple for San Diego sunshine. After graduating with her BFA from The Art Institute of Boston, she participated as Artist In Residence at Petrified Forest National Park.
