Artists’ Reception to Preview 6th Annual Ramona Art & Wine Festival
Ramona, CA, October 11, 2018—The Ramona Art Guild is sponsoring a hosted Artists Wine and Cheese Reception on Friday, October 26, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at 2Create Gallery, 438 Main Street, Ramona, Calif.
Available to the public at no charge, guests can get a preview of what’s coming at the 6th annual Ramona Art & Wine Festival on November 3, 2018 at Begent Ranch at 18528 Highland Valley Rd., Ramona, Calif.
Attendees can check out all six hand-painted barrels that will be auctioned at the Festival, meet artists showing their work at the Festival, view the original painting of the first Festival commemorative art, and meet the artist, Jamie Dougherty. Limited edition, signed prints of this painting will be available for sale at the Artists Reception and at the Festival.
Those interested in bidding on a barrel without attending the Festival can place a reserve bid at the Artists Reception or by calling Festival co-chair, Elaine Lyttleton at (760) 787-1102.
The Ramona Art Guild is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities to the community of Ramona to advance knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts as well as to display and sell art. Scholarships are given to encourage young artists in their pursuit of the arts.
The 2Create Gallery is a non-profit gallery dedicated to encouraging and exhibiting San Diego artists and providing excellent affordable original art to the community.
The 6th annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival will be held at the scenic Begent Ranch, a venue provided by Molly Jaeger-Begent and David Begent. While listening to live music, attendees can browse and purchase fine art, enjoy wine tasting, partake of a full menu of hors d’oeuvres, main courses, and desserts—and then bid on one of the six hand-painted wine barrels and/or the original commemorative painting by Jamie Dougherty. For tickets or additional information, go to http://ramonaartandwinefest.net.
The proceeds from the Festival will benefit the Ramona H.E.A.R.T. Mural Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, with the mission to celebrate Ramona’s cultural heritage through an outdoor visual arts program that today includes hand-painted wall murals and mini-murals on utility boxes.
