Women in Wine – Feb 3rd 1pm at Ramona Ranch Winery
Please join us for a very special event to learn all about the legacy of women in the wine business at the beautiful Ramona Ranch Vineyards. February is an excellent time of year to visit the lovely town of Ramona! Featured speaker, Certified Sommelier Meghan Vergara and vineyard owner Teri Kerns will be leading guests through tasting the delicious local wines, while discussing an enthralling topic in the world of wine.
“From Muse to Master” – How women influence the world of wine – The history and evolution of women’s impact in the wine business.
We will discuss the history of women’s roles within the wine industry and how they are ever changing and rapidly evolving. Additionally we talk about the most influential women in the business from winemakers to the industry’s brightest movers and shakers, including some of own San Diego local wine talent!

NEXT SUNDAY APRIL 8, is time for our Women Who Wine BUNCO EDITION at Kohill Vineyard & Winery from Noon until 3pm. Your $20 admission will include one glass or flight of wine tastings of Kohill Vineyard & Winery fine boutique French wines, and also a plate.
Perfect for bunco, Nora will be serving panini sandwiches, salad and chips. The Panini sandwich choices are Turkey Lurkey, Ham-Tomato-Cheddar, the Caprese (mozarella tomato & basil pesto) and a grilled cheese.
This month we are featuring the smooth sounds of Chasing the Sun, featuring Jessica Silva. Also featuring, CHAIR MASSAGES by Joanna Yanez for $1 per minute. YES, ladies, you will get to decide between massage, shopping and bunco…or do it all at one event! 🙂
With bunco, you can win prizes, but we will still have a few raffles to benefit the Ramona Skatepark Champions. Bring your dollars to support Ramona Skatepark, BUT, instead of buying raffle tickets to win prizes, you will EARN them. We won’t do the stamp game this time, the only way you can get raffle tickets is by buying some of the ladies’ products or services.
For every dollar you spend buying one of the ladies’ products, you can earn one raffle ticket. Everyone will give a percentage back to Ramona Skatepark, so that’s how we support our community while we support each other and meet new friends and colleagues!! 🙂
If you’ve played bunco before….neither have I! Hahahaha! It’s a dice game there are prizes and wine. You’ll do great.
If you do not drink wine, or our menu is not in your diet, every winery also serves water and soda, or you can bring your own picnic, but we will still ask that you still contribute an admission, maybe reduced, to benefit Ramona Skatepark, because that is also what this is all about. 🙂
