Please join us for Women Who Wine (Ramona) at Schwaesdall Winery on Sunday, May 6, from noon until 3pm for a FIESTA PARTY for Seis de Mayo!!! Proceeds will benefit Ramona Skatepark.
Your $20 admission will include one glass or flight of wine tastings, and a FIESTA plate of Nora‘s newest menu item, chicken or barbacoa street tacos! I just tried her barbacoa yesterday, at Packards Coffee Shop. So flavorful, and homemade tortillas!!
While enjoying the smooth sounds of our favorite band, Chasing the Sun, you can get a chair massage by either Joanne Yanez or Nicole Reinhard for $1 per minute. With two masseuse, you will be sure to get your turn! Let me say that there is nothing more relaxing than sitting in the sun with a glass of wine, hearing good music, and feeling the breeze on your skin, while these lovely ladies massage your shoulders, arms and back. You will emerge a new woman, relaxed, and ready for anything.
This month, we are celebrating a belated Cinco de Mayo with our beloved Seis de Mayo Festivities! There will be some festive networking games and raffles to benefit the Ramona Skatepark Champions. Bring your dollars to support Ramona Skatepark, BUT, instead of buying raffle tickets to win prizes, you will EARN them.
The idea is that you will earn raffle tickets by playing our reindeer games and by supporting each other! For every dollar you spend buying one of the ladies’ products, you can earn one raffle ticket. The vendors will give a percentage back to Ramona Skatepark, so that’s how we support our community while we support each other and meet new friends and colleagues!! 🙂
If you do not drink wine, or tacos are not in your diet, every winery also serves water and soda, or you can bring your own picnic, but we will still ask for the $20 donation to benefit Ramona Skatepark, because that is also what this is all about. 🙂
Finally, a quick word about Schwaesdall Winery. Schwaesdall is the first of the boutique wineries in Ramona, using vineyards first planted in Ramona back in the 50’s. With both red and white varieties, I can attest that they have my favorite Ramona Chardonnay. Enjoy your tasting in the infamous straw house, the first permitted straw bale building in San Diego County. You read that right. The tasting room is constructed of straw bales, and you would never know it from looking at it!!!
We hope you join us for a great afternoon supporting Ramona Skatepark!! We are trying to raise money for a skatepark in Ramona and we are also trying to sponsor skateboard clinics in Ramona at the Ramona Boys & Girls Club this summer. Ask us how you can help!
